SCORE is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating entrepreneurs and helping small businesses start, grow, and succeed.

Strategy

Educating and assisting entrepreneurs no matter where they are in their process of starting a business. This is accomplished by a series of workshops/seminars/ round tables and face to face counseling. Although primary emphasis is placed on those that are in a “Zero/Zero” category (Zero Knowledge and Zero Experience), SCORE will also assist those that are well into their business plan and need further guidance in order to launch their new business.  Where we do not have the necessary expertise, we will direct the client to other associated organizations that can provide the required assistance.

Assisting entrepreneurs that are already in business to succeed and/or grow. This is accomplished by creating “Core Teams” of SCORE volunteers (SCORE Plus) that are experienced in the areas where the entrepreneur needs assistance. The team will then review the business operations and provide suggested solutions.

SCORE is also about to launch a series of six new workshops (Simple Steps to Growing Your Business) that will further assist those that are already in business.
